In Case of Death
The loss of a beloved pet can bring considerable grief and uncertainty. At EverGreene Pet Cremations, we are ready to support and guide you through the steps in the process. Below you will find an outline of what to expect at your time of need.
If your pet dies, please contact us by phone for support and to make the necessary arrangements:
- Bringing in your pet yourself: After making a telephone arrangements, you can bring your pet to our animal crematorium yourself during normal business hours or after-hours by appointment.

- Picking up your pet: We offer a respectful transport service to pick up your deceased pet at your home or from your veterinarian’s office. Additional fees apply.
Please contact us by phone to make an appointment for removal service.
Our transportation staff will meet to pick up your pet at an agreed location and time.
- Please let us know about any items dear to your pet that you may want to accompany them on their journey, such as a small blanket or a special toy. We usually recommend avoiding large blankets or baby blankets, but a small “symbolic” piece of the blanket is always allowed.
Some toys are acceptable if they are not made of hard rubber/plastic or do not contain batteries.
Saying goodbye in our Farewell Room
Upon arrival, you will have the further opportunity to say goodbye to your pet with serenity in our Farewell Room. You can take a quiet moment to say your goodbyes intimately or with your family in this private space if you choose.
Cremation Options
Either at the time of pickup or after arrival at our facility, you will have the opportunity to select cremation services for your treasured friend. We offer a range of cremation packages and options to honor your wishes and individual needs.
Communal cremation
Your pet will be cremated together with other animals. It is not possible to take the ashes home, but you can choose from a few memorial products as treasured keepsakes.
Individual or private cremation options
Your pet is individually cremated. The ashes can be taken home or scattered. Standard service includes:
- Saying goodbye in our Farewell Room
- A bamboo eco-friendly urn
- A memorial wildflower packet
- A tree planted in honor of your pet through the National Forest Foundation
- A cremation certificate
Return of Ashes with Personalization
Our individual and private cremation services offer the return of your pet’s ashes to a local place of your choosing up to a 30 mile radius. We make arrangements to reunite you with your beloved pet within 3 to 5 business days, oftentimes sooner.
